Our public bath uses "Ogama" which is 100% Natural Hot Spring Water (Genzen-kakenagashi)
The "Ogama" area features five naturally erupting spring basins: the Ogama, Yude-gama, Maru-gama, Takenoshi-gama, and Shimo-gama. Our hotel is supplied directly from the "Takenoshi-gama" source.

“A World-Class Hot Spring” named "Shinyu" – 100% Natural Hot Spring Water
Among the more than 30 hot spring sources in Nozawa Onsen, "Shinyu" has long been celebrated as a world-class hot spring.
Depending on daily weather conditions, the water changes color—shifting between milky white, emerald green, and crystal clear—which is why it is also commonly known as the "Five-Color Bath" (goshiki no yu). Flakes of mineral deposit (yunohana) drift through the water, making it the quintessential hot spring experience.
